Does the A/C have to be an "In Dash" setup?

Because you can pick up an Under-Dash unit for almost nothing, then you just need to add a compressor and condenser. Dodge Motorhomes usually have "Chrysler" badged Under-Dash A/C Units that will fit in pretty any car or truck.

People are always parting them out/tearing down RV's for the aluminum and steel. That's how I got a few of the Under-Dash A/C units, and they were free too.


Here's one I pulled out of a motorhome I was scrapping, I set it aside to install in my '65 Barracuda. Yes it's small, that is an A-Body AM Radio propping it up.
