HONDA steps up in a big way.....

That's a great idea. I grew up going to a drive in from the mid 50's right up to when they closed in 1995. My mother worked there starting in 1948 and stayed until the end so I never had to pay to go in. They played first run movies and I saw all the big movies of the 60s and 70s and I worked there for a few years. It was always a good time. The one movie I really remember was when The Green Berets came out. It was the hottest two weeks of that summer and many of us of that time remember what the Vietnam War did to this country. Well we averaged 500+ cars on week nights and turned away a few hundred on weekends, the place held just over 800 cars! It was a mad house. So this is a great idea to keep these places going. It's so much more fun then going into a movie house.
