#302 or #308 heads?

I was in the process of getting ready to take my 318 block, crank, rods into the machine shop to hot tank, resize rods, ground the crank but I found a 360 on craigslist for cheap..


The 360 is 40 over all torn apart.. so my plan is to get it to the machine shop get all new bearings, resize rods, hone and hot tank the block. My delima is the heads that came with the 360 look like crap and don't match so I don't want to touch them, I have a pair of 302 heads with 188-160 valves and I was going to gasket match/port them.

Should I use the 302 heads or sell them to get 308 heads..


The rest of the package includes a comp xe268 cam, holley 650dp, edel ld340, nitrous powershot kit, hooker headers, msd 6al, msd timing control box, 391sure grip, disc brakes..
The car is not a daily driver it is a streep strip..
