#302 or #308 heads?

302 with the bigger valves and some bowl work will be great stop light heads. I put 360 heads on my .030 over 318 and the problem was it didn't leave very hard due to the open chanbers lowering the compression and making my cam too big. I ran 13.80's at Bakersfield in good weather and 14.00's in hot weather with 4.30's, 26" MT slicks @ 3250 lbs. with me in it. If you are really a stop light racer the 318 will work fine. When I decided to get serious, I built a 13:1 360 with lots of goodies. Ran 11.08 and 120. It was definitly NOT a street motor. 1.50 60' times are breathtaking. Still miss that.
