Rev-n-nator

-
I ordered one but haven't installed it yet. I plan on installing mine once I can get access to a dyno and run an A/F meter. I had a friend of mine install one though and he was raving about it. Said it eliminated all of his skipping/missing and smoothed out his idle. Also said his throttle response was better. It seems like a decent product, and I like that it has the built in rev-limiter.

I just order the rev-n-nator. I will check and see if it makes a difference on the track once I recieve it.

Love mine! I have had it for over a year..

Well, LOL, THAT is a really scientific, analytical summary, eh?

What do you "love" about it? You get better mileage? Really? Did you get the "claimed" 40 or more horsepower or whatever it was? (Oh wait, I was watching the Twilight Zone rerun, I'll turn that off)

I mean comon, what, for the money does it really do "better?"

I just got mine last week just haven't has time to install it. I need to replace my coil also. They recommend using an msd coil so the factory electronic coil is out as well i need to order one and just haven't had enough of an order for msd yet.

i have one and it will not work with a tach.my tach jumps all over the place and shift light has a mind of its own. they are said to be working to fix this problem.im waiting to see what happens

lol.. i agree. whats better about it?? i gathered the stuff to go HEI. but this seems like a good way to go also. what were you running box wise before putting this thing on? how and what did it improve??

Yet another incredibly helpful answer. If my name was Bill Gates or Jay Leno, I guess I could afford to gamble on every toy that comes along.

For the record, you cannot "love" an inanimate object. On the other hand, the sex toy industry might not be proof of that

I would post a picture proving that you can at least, ummmmm.....make love (?) to an inanimate object but I don't want to get in trouble...send me your email address & I will send it to you...if I can find the picture.....

You both are gold members. I'm sure there is a few examples in the blue room somewhere...

i dont see how a new module would make an old style coil and ballist perform better? you still need a coil to recharge and fire plugs at a much quicker rate to keep with the high RPM demand of 5500plus, the ballist alone prevents this from happening by not allowing 12 volts to a coil in an attempt to keep it cool, my point is you still have weak components in the ignition system that are not capable of providing good strong constant spark at high rpm. the horsepower gains of 10-40?????hello you can add headers with duals to any car and gain 15-20 HP .why? Because the factory system choked the HP potential of the engine, the headers didnt make the power they just released the power. i can see 7-12 hp increase simply because of the ignition upgrade over stock but to just change the module and not address the junk coil and ballist in our mopars is crazy and then expect HP gains as stated is even more crazy. a better ignition will allow the engine to reach its highest potential HP rating but will not make 20-40 HP.

Got one a year ago. I have a forward pattern manual shift A500 trans, (2.74 1st gear) with a Hurst ratchet shifter! On a light to light street race I missed the shifter handle when going for second. I'm positive that the rev limiter saved my motor! Also for racing only or very short trips you can by-pas the ballast.
