wanting what you have

Easy answer, Rani! It's gotta be my current '69 Dart project.
Why? Because I bought it as a project when I realized that, although I'd been without a Mopar for a lot of years, I wanted to return to my Mopar "roots".
I was in the middle of a long-term restification of the 1983 Hurst Olds that I'd owned since I drove it off the showroom floor in 1983. I was saving up for paint when I realized I really want a '69 Dart to build similar to the '69 340 Swinger that first got me involved with Mopars back in late 1969. So I went looking for a solid '69 Dart project and found one on eBay. I used the rest of my Hurst Olds project funds to buy the Dart and later sold the Hurst Olds that I'd owned for 27 years to help fund my Dart build.
It's still a project and may not be complete for another year but it makes me smile each time I'm in my garage.
And not only that, but getting my Mopar back led me to both the FABO "family" and all the great people here, and the wonderful people we've met and fun times my wife and I have had with Inland Mopars Car Club.
