Good sport, if you are game. I use ,a 14 lb ball. The ball too light, for my style. Always ,hit the 5 pin,too fast.(left handed). Best game,256,average 140-ish. Any one, interested?

my average used to be 155 best game was 270 some thing so we aint that far a part I used to chunk the ball 1/2 way down the lane lmao I bet i cant do that any more like i used to lol

I to am Lefty.. I bowl Weekly with my work team.. Been doing it for the last 5 years... This my sound crazy to some but I took some lessons and it changed my game... I took the lessons because I didn't want to be the worst bowler on the team.. When I started bowling I used to throw a 14lb ball as hard as I could and right up the middle.. Best game was 187 back then and I carried a 121 avg.. After the lessons from a olympic silver coach he changed my style completely... Now I throw a 15lb hook ball and last year I placed 97th in the state of Colo. using my handicap.. First time I ever competed.. I did have two days of (LUCKY) great bowling and came out with a 197 avg.. My avg for the most part is anywhere from 171 to 189 in the last three years.. With my best game to date is a 287.. It was the luckyest game I have ever shot.. Even the bad balls I thru the pins all fell down... onecatnodog

My brother and I have been bowling together since we were kiddos in the bantam league!! I'm right around a 200 average and he's in the high 2-teens!! His best game I believe is a 297 and mine is 279.

I never could seem to break a 600 series for some reason, but one night all the stars aligned and I shot by 600 and went to a 760 something series!! Of course Greggy has been in that territory many times and I believe that he's in the 800's for his high series now!!

Many fun times for the brothers and friends bowling!! Heck, even Nella has a high game in the 120's!! Geof

I've been a weekly league bowler for a lot of years - my one night out during the week. Currently on a 2-month hiatus since the location where I've been bowling for over thirty years lost their lease and the building is being converted to a grocery store. Funny thing is...it was a grocery store years ago before it became Village Bowl, then Yorba Linda Bowl. My old league bowled a short summer league to close out the bowling. We'll be moving over to La Habra 300 to start our Winter League on Sept. 10.
I used to throw a 16-lb. fingertip but time, and a little arthritis, have knocked me back to a 14-lb. fingertip. Also had a total knee replacement in my left (slide leg) knee a few years ago that kept me from bowling for 4 months after the surgery.
Currently average right around 180. Got lucky and rolled a 300 about 10 years ago during the first game of league sweeps in the Vegas league I bowled in back then.
Bowling is a lot of fun but we're losing bowling locations here in Orange County.

I gave up bowling for sex, the balls are lighter and I don't have to change shoes....

I started bowling league when I was 8, and kept going until I was 18 and left for the Navy. When I got back home in 2001 I started right back up again. I "retired" a few years ago averaging around 210. I also got lucky back in 2007 and rolled my one and only 300. Series-wise, I've never broken 800. My highest is a 772.

I'm a lefty too. Always had trouble finding one with the finger holes big enough. Like fishing I really enjoy it, but also like fishing, I suck at it.

this was when things where good 1981...I think...sponsor in place and sad tale no collage and injury that never healed....crap...lol

Oh and for the lefties.....that's the easy side....lol
