Asking $7500. or best offer. This car has been in my family since new, purchased by my Grandfather in San Diego new in 1973. 132,000 original miles. I am selling the car because I live downtown and only have one indoor parking spot and I need a commuter car. This car is in very good condition and I do drive it regularly but as you can see it has averaged only 3300 miles per year of gentle use. I have taken it a bit from stock with a performance intake manifold and Edlebrock 4 barrel carb, dual exhaust and had the vinyl top and some of the body moldings removed during a paint job approx 5 years ago. The car is much better looking this way but is not original in this sense. There is some very minor corrosion in a few areas but no serious rust. The interior is a bit shabby but will be easy to redo with some new carpet and seat covers. The engine runs excellent and the car drives great and is very reliable and inexpensive to repair. Over my stewardship I have done the repaint and added the performance parts as listed above, in addition it has a new radiator, fan clutch and water pump, new brakes all around (disc in front, drum in rear), new shocks and some front suspension bushings, new driveline u-joints, new distributor, cap, rotor, plug wires, the factory air blows cold but needs a recharge with R12. Modern radio with CD player and MP3 aux/USB inputs in faceplate. I have many service records going back decades, the car is regularly serviced (I work for an auto dealer). I am asking $7500. or best offer, the most important thing for me is the car go to someone who is able to appreciate this car and care for it as it moves into it's fifth decade of reliable and stylish service. I get more smiles, questions and "thumbs-up" in this car than any I have ever driven, and I have owned some pretty cool cars over the years.
