I remember those cordobas as being THE most cold-blooded cars ever made. Don't know how many times I heard owners yelling from inside the driver's seat, after starting it, revving it a few times, popping it into reverse, hearing a faint carb backfire, and.......dead.......then do it all over again.

Then the next start, they'd rev it even higher and longer........pop it into reverse, hear a faint carb backfire, and......dead......LOL It was pretty comical, seeing it as a non-involved party.
