Kenosha Classic Cruise

And last but not least of all. All the cars there were cool. Of course some nicer than others, but a wide variety of them and I liked them all. I didn't take pictures of all the Chevelles or Mustangs, none of the newer Mustangs or newer Corvettes. Not because I didn't like them, but you can see them just about everyday. Some of these cars I think are only brought out on special events. I talked to owners when I could. The last pictures are of an old Buick Riviera. The people who drove it to the show, well the woman was the daughter of the owner. I talked to her about the car. She wanted to open the door to show me that the car had an extra handle for the people in the back seat to use to open the door. This thing has two door handles cause the doors are so big. Joke is the husband asked her how she knew about the handle. Her response was.....are you ready....she had spent a lot of time in the back seat! LOL. Wow, letting that go without a comeback was probably one of the most difficult things I ever did. Anywho, car sat in a garage for decades. Of course time will take its toll, but the thing still started. The couple did a complete restoration. They also have all the paper work. Car cost about $5200 in the 60's. For those who were around then, that was a real BIG sum of money at that time. Shoot, it's still a good sum of money! Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
