i dont see how a new module would make an old style coil and ballist perform better? you still need a coil to recharge and fire plugs at a much quicker rate to keep with the high RPM demand of 5500plus, the ballist alone prevents this from happening by not allowing 12 volts to a coil in an attempt to keep it cool, my point is you still have weak components in the ignition system that are not capable of providing good strong constant spark at high rpm. the horsepower gains of 10-40?????hello you can add headers with duals to any car and gain 15-20 HP .why? Because the factory system choked the HP potential of the engine, the headers didnt make the power they just released the power. i can see 7-12 hp increase simply because of the ignition upgrade over stock but to just change the module and not address the junk coil and ballist in our mopars is crazy and then expect HP gains as stated is even more crazy. a better ignition will allow the engine to reach its highest potential HP rating but will not make 20-40 HP.
