Got a 72 duster that I'm swapping a 440 in. At the same time ill be swapping from a 727 to an a833. The 4 sp is told to be from a 69 b body. I have a big block bell housing. My question is will a 76 f body clutch pedal assem work? And is there any balancing issues with the 440? And will the auto crossmember work? I realize different 4 spds have the shifter in different locations but that's not a big concern to me. Thanks

So if you're will to cut the floor to fit that b body tranny in (because of shift location, why not just install a 6 speed and gain over drive gears?

because the floor hump location is a minor cut to sheet metal only.

6 speed install is fabrication of transmission mount crossmember.

BUT...... will an f-body clutch pedal assembly work in a 72 duster? i dont care about "correct". just what works. And will the 727 crossmember/transmount need to be changed? also, the b-body 4sp i got is a heck of a lot cheaper than a 6-sp. if i were made of money i wouldnt be on this forum trying to find out if the junkyard parts i got will fit in my p.o.s.

Found out my trams is a single mount 69 b body trans. Looks like ill have to swap tail housings to the b-e body dual mount. Will the tail housings swap without changing output shafts? Im still unsure on the f body pedals. Some say they work and some say they don't. I found an a body pedal assem. Out of a 73 duster with a 3 SPd. I heard these will swap. Any thoughts?

I believe the the tail housings will swap out. You will need to grind away the front mounting pad to clear the torsion bar frame.

Cannot comment on the pedal assy. due to me not knowing, sorry.
