FABO cowboys

The whole Mopar is better thing has worn VERY thin with me. Years ago the Ford/Chevy/Mopar war was understandable. But with how the herds of all Muscle cars have thinned over the years it is kind of stupid to not be at least tolerant of other brands. And there is nothing wrong with admitting that the "OTHER" brands produced some good ideas...and good parts. Sad part is that 5.0 Duster will probably outrun most "stock" small blocks in performance/reliability & economy. I guess the truth is painful for some. I am on the fence about starting a build thread for my car. It is going to have either a big inch Windsor or LS under the hood.....I really don't want to hear all the crying over it. My car, my funds. Don't like it oh well. Voice your opinion and move on with your life. Don't sit there and call me names, etc......Some of these is just folks being keyboard commandos. What really makes me laugh is with all the butt patting that goes on here at FABO that the behavior towards people building a cross breed even exists.

As Rob kept saying in the thread, it wasn't the build it was the attitude.

The kind of attitude that basically came across as "I'm a better builder than all you combined..." While the engine sits with a lean, the "one size fits most" upper radiator hose, and whatever we can't see.

If you're going to build it, build it! Engineer it. Do it right! Then you can claim as to how it was built. This kid didn't do that. And then, basically, told everyone to f*** off with his attitude.

I'd have been more impressed if he'd made a 300 inline six fit. The right way. Standing straight up. Between the cowl and the core support. And gotten the hood to close.
