Heater core-no AC, late Abody-- how much of the dash do you have to disassemble?

It's actally way easier than you might think.
Undo the J bolt inside the right fresh air box by removing the nut on the bottom end of the bolt. (It hooks up over the inside of the vent inlet)
Remove the hoses and all the nuts on the heater blower motor except one. (just loosen that one)
Unhook the control cables and electrical from the top of the heater box, then take the last nut off the blower motor under the hood.

Just about falls out on the floor, so I propped mine up with a 3 pound coffee can.

I can have mine out in about 15 min.

On the replacement core, I got mine for about 45 bucks from Autozone.
One of the tubes was a little off on it's angle and I probably could have just tweaked it a little, but I used a propane torch to melt the solder where the tube goes into the core and repositioned it. (Didn't take it off, just softened the solder and twisted the tube slightly)
Been 2 years now with zero issue's.

Thanks, Trailbeast...I'm very encouraged by this. Thanks a million for writing that up.
