Top Fuel is not for everyone, nor are any dragster classes. When I go to NHRA events, I watch Pro-Stock and sportsman classes and wander the pits when dragsters are running. If it doesn't have doors, I'm not interested.
I am complete agreement with you. While everyone piles into the beer and food lines after the pro classes run I stay and watch the sportsman classes.
But for pure brute strength of the internal combustion engine these top fuel and funny car engines run are just amazing.
