My car shelter is sick

I reinforced my "carport" by adding three 4x4 posts anchored in concrete for the back wall I added, and four in the front wall for door supports.

"Out of the box" it was rated for 120 MPH winds, but I paid $100 for a few 140 MPH upgrades just short of having the entire structure 140 certified.

We do get the occasional hurricane through here, as well as tornadoes and hail, but usually, no snow.

Now I call it a "pole garage".

I think the main issue with shipping containers is crawling out the window of your car.
I suppose you could add a door on the side.
One of my friends had a military container that had telescoping side walls which almost trippled the capacity (and the width).
