My car shelter is sick

This is my solution! My fabric was starting to leak after 3 winters, so I got a bunch of 4x8 Aluminum sheets cut them down and bent them up into standing seam panels and strapped the tent frame with 1" girt. Cost me ZERO dollars. :blob:Leftover stock from the job site!

I plan on wrapping the sides with T-111 exterior plywood, and make a couple swing out barn doors for the front and my Fake garage or "Fauxrage" will be complete! You could get similar results with some furring strips screwed to the tent frame and corrugated metal or plastic panels fastened to those! Lowes or Home Depot should carry the panels. Craigslist might be a cheap source for panels too if you get lucky!

If you keep the canvas on the frame slice holes in the roof and work through them and work your way from one end to the other cause you don`t want to be climbing on it! This way you still have the tent sides! Now when winter hits I wont be out there every couple of hours beating the snow off with a broom it should just slide right off! :glasses7:
