is the round end of the pushrod the correct size for the lifter? when you changed from a solid to a roller did you install the correct springs? what pressure are the spring at?

yeah mate i've checked everything like that twice, three times, the springs are 240 seat 580 over the lobe and the pushrods are 5/16 balls on 3/8 rods, trends. and coil bind isn't happening and the piston to valve still has about 1/4 inch at 20 before tdc, seem to be the closest spot i can find.
