Lemme tell ya...those days are alive and well! I just sold a '77 Z28 that I built up without smog controls. What a pain.....and sneaking around the smog check place with a wad of cash in hand, whispering and looking for the "right guy" really got old quick. Seriously, those guys are soooo paranoid of getting caught......I walked in with my work uniform on (and my military style haircut) and I could tell....they thought I was "the man" and their faces turned ashen and they about sh**!!
I'm done with that stuff.....and the $250 a pop too.
