Hi
looking for a someone on the west coast (california) to buy a rebuilt 727 from. I was planning on getting a TCI tranny, but after reading the stickie I decided against that.......
I live in the san francisco bay area and would like to be able to buy the trans from a local reputable shop.
My project is a 69 Dart with a 340. The engine shall hopefully make 400hp.
I will mostly drive it on the street , but might take it to the track to see what it will turn in the 1/4.

There used to be a guy named Darrell Young down here in So. Cal. If you Google it, you can probably find him.
 
I think Pro Trans will make/rebuild Street/strip trans'. They specialize in race trans' and manufacturing on site most of the trick race trans internals. But they will rebuild street stuff too. Straight up people you can trust. Might be able to arrange delivery if they are travelling to a race or travelling through Bay Area.

Call Steve at Macy Transmission in Martinez on Pacheco Blvd, google him up. Ex-drag racer, ran Mopars. Good guy, shop is always full, which is a good sign. He`s done an A903 and a four speed for me, and he`ll let you pick his brain.
