I used to put 6x9 speaker grilles in the package shelf of my models.

I had a Convertible with a 440/4Bbl/833/Dana...

Can you give the the product code for that model?
 
radio shack has the same wire in small spools for about three bucks,they have blue and red.fifty foot rolls.

Detail Master Spark Plug Wire is advertised as .012" wire - in 1/25 scale that is just slightly larger than 8mm spark plug wire.
28-guage wire is .0126". Lots of internet sources. First place I looked had a price of $3.95 for 120' roll. Detail Master shows a list price of $3.99 for 2'.
You do the math.
