Don't the pistons have valve notches already? If they do, that's adequate I am sure. Of course I would still check as a means of good assembly.

Remember, it's the duration you need to worry about regarding clearance, not lift. It's how long the valve hang open. That cam is pretty mild. I don't think you'll have an issue.

Yes, I know about Duration and Valve-to-Piston contact.

Unfortunately, I don't have the Engine Assembly to 'check-the-specs'.

Just trying to get a good Cam Combination with 3.55 Gears and a
3500 RMP Stall Converter for a 273 with a 904 Transmission.

I don't think it can be done for a Daily Driver/Street Machine,
as the internals of the 'not built' 904 will end up splattered all
over the road in a short period of time.

Plus the Piston Assembly
* Cast Piston Weight.....530 Grams
* Heavy Piston Pin........220 Grams
* Connecting Rod.........726 Grams

Reciprocating weight looks a bit too much.........
