Cast Aluminum Restoration

I think it was in an issue of Mopar Action, there was a how to on restoring cast aluminum. Once the aluminum was clean there was some kind of stuff that was melted onto the aluminum to keep it looking new. Anyone know what I'm talkin about?

RPM sold by ECS automotive. I use it on all of my bare metal parts.

Thanks. I should have it around here some where just can't find it at the moment. How did they clean the aluminum initially?

I believe they used paint stripper, I will look for my magazine and post up some pics later.
