met the coolest cop ever....

I was still in high school, just swapped a 318 into my 66 barracuda Formula S and got it running. (when I got it, it had a 273 with a huge hole in the block from sitting with no antifreeze in it) It was about midnight and I went down to hiway 167 in the valley and opened it up to see what it would do (long straight and flat, nobody around).

Probably 115-120, I backed out of it, "cops sit radar under this overpass coming up," I announced to my friend, and my little bro and his friend that were in the back."

Anyway, I got pulled over by a lady cop. I told her I had just got it running (no hood still and I was in jeans and a t-shirt, still all greasy from the install).

"You were going over 10-over", she said, "try to keep it down". that was it!
