FABO Hall of Fame Forum? Just an idea - My first Nomination

How about a FABO HALL OF FAME Forum? it could be for threads that are Hall of Fame quality (now don't laugh at me here). I am thinking A-body and Mopar history here, but could be technical, historical and of a "world class" nature.

We have some members here who are true Hall of Famer's and I don't know if we recognize that, so that could be a factor as well. I just think it would be neat and a great way to preserve some of the best of the best in one place on FABO.

FABO is a great site, and I love it. So what do you all think?

MeMike would be the first member I would like to see be inducted.
 
69 Cuda 440 is exactly the first person I thought about. All of his threads are really good reading. Even if he does think I am an amateur clown.

Spike...that IS an AWESOME thread!!!...especially when the contributors were actually there and competed and know the cars.

what about that a body bomber? I have spoken with Severel members that I consider hall of famers. Mad dart and his twin turbo dart build is a strong contender. Cracked back and rusty rat rod are also active members that offer allot.

Guys I'm just gonna say this FWIW...to me it wouldn't feel right to single out certain members as "Hall of Famers" when we have so many really good people here that maybe aren't as visible as others.

I agree there are threads that would be cool to preserve.
 
Instead of a "Hall of Fame" how about a forum for just those of us with the gigantic chips on there shoulders? The ones that pretty much look down on damn near everyone. That blow there chest out and do the Tarzan yell when some one makes a mistake. There is enough of them on here.....

I sent you a nice PM. I could have been ugly. I wanted to but I didn't. You ignored it. You're nothing more than a pompous jackass. While you certainly have experience and tons of knowledge, you lack basic people skills that even a chimp possesses. I was joking and having fun with you the whole way in that match race thread but you took it all so seriously. Then, you claim you "know" I've never run a boring bar, when you couldn't be farther from the truth. You "know" nothing about me. You don't know who I am, what I know or what I am capable of, yet you chose to insult me and call me names FIRST. And did so on someone ELSE'S thread where "I" was trying to be productive asking legitimate questions. That was lame of you. So, since you want to drag it out, I called you one back. I even reported your post but nothing was done. I am sure I'll get an infraction, but that's fine it was worth it. I think the best thing for us to do is steer clear of each other.
 
I believe you actually have to 'own' a Mopar, or least raced one to qualify for the Hall of Fame.

Then you continued to make the Amateur Clown reference.......So it was you who couldn't let it go.
