i'm guessing my headers are stainless???

-
How old are they, I can see the purple to violet color that stainless presents after heating up.

They look like nickel plated TTIs. Mild steel with nickel plating. Look inside the collectors and see if there is rust.

check them with a magnet.
If they are not magnetic, they are stainless.
If they are magnetic, they COULD be stainless.
Probably aren't.

Not true, on the magnet and stainless steel. Some stainless is magnetic. If it is a low grade of S/S, not as highly refined, where "ALL" the iron, and impurities are not taken out it will have some magnetic qualities. Stainless comes in different grades.

question is , how much did you pay for them?? sst are quite expensive!!

They came on the car that is why i was trying to find out.
when i bought the car they were listed in the ad as Old school Headers.
The Ground clearance is amazing i think they are hedman headers. Atleast that is what the x pipe has written on it.
Yeah just tryin to find out what they are when people ask or it comes up in a conversation.
I'm going to change out the rusty header bolts with ARP ones and new gaskets just not looking foward to draining the exhaust bolts on the ends. Probably drain the radiator alittle first.
i remember my first Barracuda when i took out one of those end bolts and i thought there was somthing Wrong with the block. how many of you did that too!!!
