"1968 Match Race City" 68' Barracuda vs. 68' Camaro

The Who, What, Where, When, Why, They, Them and How.

The Camaro came off the line much quicker, and immediately pulled out to a 2-Car
Length lead by the end of 1st-Gear.

The 'Higher-Reving' 327 was able to hit 2nd-Gear first, and held it's 2-car Length
lead as the 383 'chugged' behind.

By the Mid-Way Point down the Track, the Camaro banged into the 3rd-Gear (again quicker]
than the Barracuda.

But once the Barracuda hit 3rd-Gear {1.39 Ratio}, it pulled on the Camaro as the
327 was 'winding-out at 5000 RPM's.

At the 1000 Foot Mark, the 383 Barracuda started to make a strong move, as
the Big-Block was now breathing and staying in it's 'RPM Power-Groove'.

Once the 383 Barracuda hit 4th-Gear, it picked up speed {MPH's}, and went by the
327 Camaro at the 1200 Foot Mark.

The Barracuda won by a 'solid' Car Length.

Result........
* Barracuda....... 14.67 @ 96.3 MPH
* Camaro........... 14.85 @ 93.4 MPH
