I think you are talking about one of those shows I happened to see.
Totally staged!
They kept on and on making a big deal about not breaking the back glass getting it out.
How rare it was.
Then they put it on some saw horses.
Guess what?
OPPS. Now they have to get a replacement of this RARE glass before the old man finds out.
And they just HAPPEN to find a car across the street in another junk yard.
Well, they have to buy the whole car to get the glass.
But they got a good deal on it.
Funny thing is that car is a V8 car and the car they are working on is a slant six car.
Oh and did I mention they are planning to covert it to a V8 car.
Guess what they DON'T mention on the show.
