hi guys and girls thought you might like to follow along as i pull my 318 out of my 73 cuda patch and repair/straighten my engine bay for the fitment of my new 451 stroker and also rebuild my front end with all new components

take the whole engine bay back to bare metal and spray with black industrial etch primer,gring back rough sections and fill withh bondo/bog

all filler has been sanded ,etch has been scuffed up and now put into putty

k frame gets degreased and blasted in back yard,wire wheeled and then put into black etch
 
lower control arms fully sandblasted,ready for stiffening plates,k frame sandblasted and in etch ,engine bay sanded back after first putty,another decent coat of putty and it should be ready to go,yahooo rally red here i come

finally got the engine bay painted on my days off,painted it in acrylic base coat with a 2pak clear over it as its what i had laying around,i,m really happy with it,considering how ruff it was:cheers:

Nice work! Just hearing the rumble from that 451 will make ricers quiver.
 
Nice nice nice,but I wander how long will that transmission live with that collector so close heating up the oil.
 
Looks good! I was worried when I scrolled down and saw that black paint in the engine compartment.
