Most Mopar Small Block Marine Engines will utilize the 'angle-deck' Carb mounting surface. {see Manifold photo below}.
That Carter AFB Carburetor on the current 273 is most likely a 500 CFM Rating with a 1 7/16" Primary and 1 9/16" Secondary {Mechanical Secondaries}
I would 'not' use an Aluminum High-Rise {ie; Edelbrock Performer or Performer RPM type unit} as clearance will be an issue, and a low-plane Intake works better on that combination.
I'll see if I can find a photo of the recommended Intake.
