Jury duty

I have never done this and was wondering if anyone ells has.
Or is the judge just looking for a drummer-bass player for a party.
All BS aside they want me for two week's.
I will make the time for it and do my part and try to enjoy it.

I had it a few years ago. I could've said my major and been excused(defense attorneys typical don't want people with knowledge of the justice system), but i used it as an excuse to get paid and sit on my *** for a day.

I was on a nonsensical case of assault. A kid was shoplifting, an overzealous rent-a-cop gave chase and his foot was run over when the kid drove off. rent-a-cop claimed he "dove out of the way" and told it as though he was in a segal film. His fellow rent-a-cop couldn't even back up the story and just saw the kid pull out and drive off. It was kinda sad and pathetic.

Despite this being an obvious accident, it took us two days to convince the last juror, that the shoplifting was not part of the trial and not a valid reason to send the kid to jail for assault.(as per the judge) :banghead:
