Rods have parting lines polished, blocks are deburred,heads runners are massaged intakes are port matched and everything is visually inspected. Maybe two or three times. Anyone who throws parts at their motor cant ***** about the consequences.Its all in the attention to quality and detail.

So darn true Pete, I had a friend years ago that needed an intake for his
318, he knew I most likely had one sitting around and called, I said pick one out but if he wanted a 4 barrel I have them locked up in my shop (I was at work on the phone with him) so he called back and said he picked out a blue one with a carb on it and wanted to know if he should take the carb off before he took it home, I said no, take the hole thing, It turned out his old 2 barrel intake was broken at the thermostat, he drove his truck to my house the next evening and said it has a bad miss (he was about 25 years old) and he popped the hood :tongue9: I showed him another intake and asked did he at least clean the runners out, I showed him another intake and 2 runners was full of dirt dobber nest's :coffee2: We still talk about that day :D
