This weekend I saw a 67 Barracuda with bucket seats and head rests. I thought that the head rests came in mid 68. I looked at the salesman pocket guide and they were a $41.90 option. Are they rare or am I just a hay seed?

Thanks,
Craig

I've seen more in 67 Dodge then 67 Plymouth. Lots of 67 verts had headrests including Plymouths. There were a few with headrest at drivers seat only also. The passengers seat headrest would muss the ladies hairdo.

They should repop them....I'd like a set for my wife's vert.

They are out there, I just bought a set of 67 buckets with head rest for my valiant.

I've seen a few just pass side. That's kinda odd.

Look at 80's Dodge 400/600 seats.

The headrests look VERY similar.

If you REALLY wanted them...

Similar is not the same....80's look on 60's car is a clash of worlds.

There still out there somewhere though.

I may be selling a set of 67 Dart buckets with headrest in case anyone is interested.

Better check that, the 72 and up red and amber side marker lights are used all the way up into the late 80's.... Just sayin they could be the same...

Not the same but VERY similar.

Non Mopar folk wouldn't know, and I'd bet many Mopar guys wouldn't either.

Discussion was about head rests....not sure what the marker lights are about.

yeppers they were optional and one could do a single seat in 67. They are pretty rare and not repopped. They do repop the installation kits though. The seats are all the same and have the holes already in the frames to install the head rests.
I think the 68 up's are being made though, but they are also a different headrest.

One of those unknown options like rear seat shoulder belts. I have a set of those....
Never knew they existed before i got this 69 Charger R/T S/E that was loaded...

I still have yet to see but 2 or 3 cars with them.

I thought I saw new headrests available at PG Classics?
