I have a 1970 Dart in pieces that I am unable to finish. I'd like to sell it but don't know what to ask for it the way it sits. It was purchased new for my mom in 1970, has 51000 miles, is a real 340 car, automatic, numbers matching, with original build sheet. It is all original with the exception of a paint job and sunroof that my dad added in the early 70's. It has surface rust and a few perforations. The rust perforations are the top of the fenders, behind the rear wheels on the quarters and a small hole in the trunk where the trunk lid leaked. The floors are good with the exception of surface rust on the bottom. All in all it is a pretty solid car.

The car also comes with a 1971 donor car that is in amazing condition. It is a southern, two door car. Has one rust spot behind the right rear wheel in the quarter. Any honest pricing help would truly be appreciated. Thanks.

Can't help with the pricing, but I'm sorry to see you have to let it go. It looks like a great car and the fact it was your Mom's makes it pretty special. Good luck.

not sure what it would go for, but it's in good shape for it's age and the inside looks clean, good luck with the sale and don't let anyone lowball you.

3,500. For the 340 car and if the 71 parts car runs w/ a slant 6, I would price it at 1,500. / 2,000. Hope that helps.

I would say $5k for both. From the pics the 340 car needs full resto. If you find someone that has to have a real 340 car maybe $6k. Just my thoughts good luck with sale.

Sunroof kills value on the 340 by at least 1K IMO.

2500 for the 340 car, ask 3500.

Parts car looks like it would sell for the same or more if it's running and in similar shape inside.

Man...there is now way I could let a car go that has been in my family for that long for that kind of money...get r going and have fun. Just drop the engine back in and drive it like it is. What is the condition of the engine?...tranny...etc..
A running car will sell for more. That is a pretty rare car.
Looks like your dad put the sun roof in correctly. At least it doesn't look like a popup.
The 71 parts car looks pretty good too. Is it a V8 or /6? Does it run? or how hard would it be to make it into a running car? Does it have a title? How's the interior?

Yea, the sunroof was done correctly by ASC. It looks like a factory job. The parts car is a slant six car. It's not currently running. But I don't think it would take much to gat it running. I have the title for both cars.

Last year I paid 6500.00 for a running driving 340 dart. It needed a right front patch installed on floor and had some bubbling in the quarters. It was not a numbers matching car, however it was a 340, 4 speed, yellow car. hope this helps.

Is this an Ontario car? It looks like it has an Ontario plate on it in pic #2.
The car will sell for more in Canada than the U.S. if it is.
The sun roof will hurt the value, I think everyone is right about the pricing so far in the 5 grand area for both cars as they sit.
Assemble the 340 car and get it running, get the parts car running, and it will be a lot easier to sell them both, and for more money.
