1970 /6 Dart

So, what will be up next will be a some transmission work. The transmission in my car is the only original drivetrain piece as the engine is a reman from the PO and the rear is from a 70' Duster. The tranny has about 200,000 miles on it and is becoming very erratic. When it's cold it slps alot and gives very mushy shifts and sometimes on takeoff it acts like it's in neutral. When it warms up it shifts really harsh and firm.

The game plan is to cleanup the tranny rob gave me, do a service on it and change the fluid in the converter too and replace the front and rear seals while it is still out of the car. I'm kind of excited to put it in the car because it is a lock-up converter transmission and I can use everybit of a cruising rpm drop I can get due to those 3.55 gears that I love to hate.
