Turns out I got tickets to the Detroit Tigers Saturday night and the Woodward Dream Cruise is this weekend. I plan to head down early to check it out. I have never been. Is there anything I should try to see or better place to attend this event? I am not bringing the Barracuda this year as I want to check it out first and don't want to park it downtown Detroit during the game.

There's usually aTON of people and traffic. The best thing to do is park on a side street and expect to walk maybe 1/2 mile maybe only a few short blocks to get to Woodward. Anywhere between 11 Mile & 14 mile roads is interesting.

Don't expect to go very quickly while driving on Woodward, but its pretty easy to take a side street to another major road to get to where you want to be.

And it can be challenging to find a bathroom at times.

Thanks. I will plan to check it out between 11 and 14 mile and get rid of my coffee before I get there. I see Chrysler is doing some reveals around 13 mile at 10:00am as well.

I did the cruise Friday night as well. Took the kids and my Mom, they loved it!! We were interviewed and the GTX is now on the Redline Dodge website!!

The cruise always seems to go better on the south side of Woodward,'so I go up to 14 mile on Greenfield and just do the south side. That's where all the Mopars hang anyway!! So, no tickets this year, and the cops were out like Mosquitos!! Hope you had fun as well!! Geof

my son and i went friday around 12:30... drove the entire cruise, ate some lunch and got out while we could! it was already slammed!

Went to the cruise was interviewed by Steve Magnante, haven't seen it posted yet. It is amazing how many different types and styles of cars that are there. With the 50th year of the hemi next year, this would be a perfect car to have at the Chrysler display next year.

I did not make it this year but if you are ever planning on going the nights before the cruise are excellent! Wed, Thurs, & Friday are actually a lot better if you really want to cruise.
