I'm selling my 1975 Ford F250 Ranger XLT 'Camper Special'. I just bought a house, and it needs to go to clear up space for the others.

$1300 OBO. Located in Errington, BC, Canada.

360, Edelbrock 4bbl, C6 auto, Dana 60 rear with 4.10's, front disc brakes, heavy suspension.
Being an XLT it has all the chrome.
The truck is very reliable, starts up every morning and idles all day long.
All lights, signals, AM/FM radio, heater, etc work.
The hood hinges are still solid thanks to the galvonized inner fenders.
The box doesn't sag at the rear like a lot do.
Single gas tank, though it's a big one (not sure how much it exactly holds).
Grille was cut for fog lights by previous owner.
Roughly 115,000 miles.
Still pulls pretty hard, keeps up with highway traffic no problem.

Replaced this year:

- passenger exhaust donut
- tail gate with one from a 1979 F150, latch works great

Replaced within last 3 years:

- Valve cover gaskets, plugs, wires, dist cap and rotor, starter relay, headlight switch, ignition.
- Edelbrock 1406 600cfm carb with electric choke

Replaced within last 10 years:

- all 4 tires, still have about 70%
- oil pump
- oil pump shaft, pickup pipe, and screen
- water pump
- fuel pump
- gears and timing chain
- float valves
- auto tranny flush and filter replaced
- crank main bearings
- rear main seal
- torque converter
- flex plate
- transmission shaft seal
- gas tank
- heater core
- kickdown linkage
- high beam switch

It had rust in the floor near both front cab mounts which I cut out and welded in solid metal. Is has rust at the front of the box behind the cab, and at the end of the box near the tail gate. Both doors have rust on the bottom (can't see it unless looking up underneath). The passenger fender has rust at the dogleg. The passenger side of the box has rust on the wheel lip.

It sounds like it still needs passenger side exhaust work. The manifold may need replacing.

The original key was lost, so I replaced the ignition with another I had. Therefore, the doors can't be locked at this time. You'll have to pull the locks and get the pins adjusted for this key.

Brake pedal is a little soft, may want to do the brakes at some point.

Front window has a rock chip, but all other glass is good.

I have loaded the truck up pretty good with heavy tools, furniture, etc, and the leafs didn't even get weighed down.

I'm daily driving it right now since we're moving, and the clutch blew on my other truck. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this anywhere.

Rear brakes need doing, wheel cylinders leak and rear hard lines are scaling. Price drop to $750. I'll include new front pads, rear wheel cylinders, and rear shoes. The truck still stops with the front brakes (they have about 60%) but the pedal is soft.

I have no idea. Send me a PM, I'll give you my address, and maybe you'll be able to get a quote from a company? I've never shipped a vehicle before.
