Rear seat delete

I am going to take the rear seat out of the duster and clean it up and make it a 2 seater like a AMX. Has anyone done this or have any idea what to do.
 
x2 I am thinking of adding a roll cage and going without a back seat without the back half sheet-metal look. I will be watch your thread.

I personally think that if a person was going to do this on a street car it would have to be done very nicely in order to not look like a short cut. i have seen some cars with nice bead rolled panels in the rear that make the car look very finished.
 
How much weight is there to be saved with a rear seat-ecotomy?

I think it would be easy enough to cut a piece of ply wood and find a section of reasonably similar carpet to put in its place.

Just trying to figure out if it's worth the effort...for a car that's just being set up to be a back roads hooligan machine that may see the autocross track or drag strip once in awhile.
