'100' Fastest Mopars 1962 thru 1971

Grassy,

Some history on Bud Faubel's 1964 Dodge #330 'Race Hemi'.

At the end of the 1964 Racing Season {December 1964} Bud put the Dodge up for sale.

Doc Burgess {from up my way in New York} wanted to buy it from Bud. But, Bud sold it
to another upstate New York Racer {Bob Goss} for $3500 instead.

Bob Goss only 'raced' it sporadically for a few years in S/SA {1965 and 1966}. Then raced
it only a few times in SS/AA {1967}, and SS/BA {1968} before putting the Dodge in his garage.

Eventually the Dodge disappeared to parts unknown.

Sometime around 1985, car collector Steve Banker of Arizona found it in the Midwest. He bought it
and restored to its original 'factory' condition.

In 2001, Steve Banker liquidated his car Collection, and Don Fezell of western Pennsylvania bought it,
and is the current owner {last time I checked}.
