1967 Barracuda Production Q

There aren't any numbers available for bench cars, but they aren't that rare. My 273 Commando fastback is one. A lot of the coupes had benches. It's just that 45 years later, they've mostly been converted to buckets/console.

It seems odd for a radio-delete BB Barracuda to have a bench seat. Usually radio-delete/bench cars are low-buck fleet cars, but Barracudas were never sold as taxis or to motor pools, and if you were concerned about weighty accessories and wanted to drag race that 383, the first thing you'd want to get rid of would be that 150lb bench seat. I mean, the radio weighs what, 5 lbs?
