'100' Fastest Mopars 1962 thru 1971

Ian,

That was before my time. But one of my Father's Racing Buddies was there.

When Bud Faubel ran 'The Hemi Honker' at NHRA Regional Meets and National Events,
he ran the 1964 Dodge Race Hemi in S/SA {in legal Super/Stock trim}, with 7" Wide Slicks.

For 'Match Race Events', they put on a 'fiberglass nose' and swapped in a
'tricked-up' 426 Race Hemi engine, and utilized 10" Wide Slicks.

If you look close in the photo, they even shifted the Front wheels forward for
Match Racing.
