This is one of those cases where you need to be REALLYcareful.
I remember reading this about using a broker to sell a boat - the broker went bankrupt but had sold the boat and even though the original owner still had the title the buyer got ownership (http://www.sportscarmarket.com/columns/legal-files/2499-who-gets-the-car-or-boat).
