1968 barracuda convertible 340 auto save it!

Someday it might be worth the coin to restore. If it was restored today one would need to take great care of it so their X years old restore wouldn't need a redo when its value got right for a sale.
In my opinion, any of the made in China reproduction parts hurt a restore. To do it right would mean buying OEM made under the pentastar parts and have those professionally restored. Big buckets of coins in that route.
For my money invested in restoring today, it would need to be a superbird, rare e-body, or a pre war anything. Then again, If I had the coin to invest in it, I might buy it as a future build and start gathering the parts for it. Those parts certainly aren't getting cheaper by the day huh ? Well, those parts being replaced by made in China are a little cheaper and easier to find that they were 10 years ago. I guess that's a plus.
