My 71 Duster Project

I just got back from the engine builder earlier today and here are some updates. The build is still going well, just ran into a few minor issues which is why we are delayed a little bit. When he was installing the roller rockers onto the heads and mocking up the pushrods, he noticed that there is no pushrod clearance in the tunnels inside the heads. He says that this is due to running the roller cam setup which changes the geometry of the lifters/cam profiles. He is still able to make this work, however, he has to take the heads back off and port out the pushrod tunnels in the heads. This is costing me another $240 so there goes the money I was saving up for the dyno time. So right now he is waiting for a couple parts and to do the machining on the heads for the pushrods and we should be back on track. We are shooting for this weekend or early next week since this is a short week to get the motor back. More to follow as I get updates. Here are some pictures for you.
