Hello, does anyone know what shift knob would have been stock on a 72 340 demon 4-speed? I have a t-handle on there now, but I was wondering if it had a white ball or black etc. any info would be great. thanks

Are you saying you bought your car with a White Ball on it at some point?
Or are you saying you bought it new in 1972 with a White ball???

I've only know the wood ball to be correct.

Interesting. That pic of the new one in the options page I thought was white. Now that I am looking it might be the wood one.

It is wood, compare it to the automatic shifter ball which is wood.

Every 4spd car 69 and up I had was a simulated plastic wood knob. My 65 was white . and 66 -68 were inlands with black and reverse locks. All my 72 demons and dusters were brown wood except the 3 spds were black

That's the way I remember it too. The only white ones I remember were hanging on the wall at the speed shop!

I had a 72 duster 340 4spd. that I bought off the original owner, car was untouched and parked since '76. The shift knob was white
