As for the 331, it would depend on the year. If its a '51 with a 2 barrel, factory spec is 180 hp, 312 ft lbs of torque. But if its a '55 331 out of a Chrysler 300 with a factory dual quad, is 300 hp and 345 ft lbs of torque. I bet that would move an A body just fine.

I am all too familiar with the Hemi's of the fifties and sixties as I was driving these cars. I owned a 1956 Chrysler 300 back in 1960 and yes it was black and it was beautiful. When I hit 18, I built a 35 Ford with a 331 Latham supercharged hemi, that was cool/ Were you around in those years?
