I use one I bought from Meguiars a long time ago and love it. It is also sold by Porter Cable. I don't see it on their website anymore but here is what they replaced it with. It seems like it is even better.

It looks like it is the same as this one by Dewalt.

Don if you're just waxing, there are a ton of six inch polishers very inexpensive,i think mine is a Turtle wax cheapie and it works great for wax.
If you expect to wet sand, cut and buff paint the above style is necessary.

no plans on cut and buff any time soon,i do have a 5 inch hand one but its hart for me seeing i am right handed. just hoping for something faster and bigger lol.

I know Harbor freight is hit and miss, not sure if it would be okay with your arm but I was looking for one a few years back and grabbed one from them. Still going strong and it's had it's use. Here's a thread on them that's pretty useful after the first few pages.

With a 25% off really hard to beat, add 2 year warranty for 10 bucks and your covered.

Makita variable speed random orbital with a wax pad. Should be all you need.

I got this one from Canadian Tire made by Meguiar's and it just attaches to your drill.

I used it on my Toyata Highlander and it works awesome. Read the reviews on CanadianTire.com and Amazon.com

It's on sale this week for 25% off too.

You can also buy the different colour pads for different wax applications (glaze and prewax cleaner) when they are on sale 25% off too.

Great item for the money.

I bought a random orbital one from walmart a few years ago for $28 at Christmas time it works great; and 2 summers of service what more could you ask for!

came with the polishing and applying pads and instructions too if you need them

Thankssssssssssssss for the help all, right now I am thinking of the DA power system from Meguiars price is right and i think i can Handel it.or the 10 inch ramdom orit polisher witch one would you use?

Cdn. Tire also has Meguiar's 6 inch Dual Action Polisher on sale for 199. Apparently has good reviews. A friend bought one in the US for 176. so considering exchange a good price. I am thinking of purchasing one. On sale until Dec 24th featured in their Destination Christmas.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

My meguires pads can be run through the wash. Use hot water and only put them it I. By the self or with micro fiber towels. Then you run them through the dryer. Air drive mode.

Get the Meguiers. I used them for years. I used a flex and a Rupes now but they are not cheap. The Flex has more power but the Rupes is more comfortable.
