So I had an auto glass guy here at the house to fix a chip in the family van and asked about my window leak in the car..." Will never hold water out with the seals like that..." Lovely, just lovely!

Better pics when the sun comes out!

what is the paint code on the bumpers? got a set of glass bumpers for my dart that im looking at a silver color for. that looks great.

Let me grab the can and get the number. Chrysler billet silver. DuPont nason paint code PSC, black was PX8, graphite slate grey PDR.

The front tires on stock police wheels ended up as 205/60/15 with no clearance issues after aligning the car. The rims that were on the car had over an inch offset difference.

That's good to hear. I ended up with a set of rims and tires I could not use because I guessed on the backspacing and it was WRONG..... oh well it is only money.... and I did use the two of the tires. I just got to learn the hard way or as I say "It's just par for the course!"

As far as the window seals I put all new ones in as I suspected they were leaking from before and I did not want to have to pull the glass out again to fix them.

Between Xmas prep for the 8 of us, work, and shitty weather, I haven't got much done. I need to pour through interior and make list of the things I need. I have all tan trim but want black, how well does it take color. Any products to get me there?

I know how you feel about being busy and weather that's not great. I'm looking forward to the end of this week where I just saw on the weather report that it may come close to sixty degrees this coming Friday. If that happens it'll be close to 70 in my garage, then the epoxy primer can go into the engine bay.....

My problem is that my garage is just full of everything! Hard to work on things in it but have a garage sized pad outside the entry. I volunteer with a wounded warrior foundation called Reel American Heroes Foundation and I am planning our 2014 NC event right now so I have plenty to do! Check us out @ www.reelamericanheroes.org we are always fundraising to put on our events. I live about 30 minutes from Rockingham and am contemplating trying to get a raffle car together for 2015.

I also had tan trim that I used Rust-Oleum Specialty Paint For Plastic. If you look at post #82 it show how they turned out. Make sure to clean the trim real good before you paint.

74 Dart w/ 340 6 pack

They look great but it can scratch off.(you really need to try to scratch it off) I also did the armrests with the same paint and it's ok but it is starting to rub off.

What did you end up using to reseal the doors? Anything special besides plastic to make it work?

I did 6 mil plastic behind the door panels,Softseal weather stripping on the doors and on the roof rails for the window channel. Also new door jamb pillar seals and cat whiskers on the windows. It's ok, but it is better than what was on the car before. A lot less noise and fumes get into the car now.

Just looked weird, expensive enough for the pair! Ordered the grill marker lights. Going to clean interior trim to prep for paint. We will see how that goes.

I will absolutely need to keep the 3000 rpm chip in the MSD when my son drives it. Doing 90 with plenty of rpm left and will fry the rubber right off on some smokey burn outs!
