and it comes with the linkage, that's cool

gotta love it how the guy advertises it as "no reserve" and then puts the opening bid at $450.00

LOL.
I do see a lot of that on ebay. There are several auctions for the cross ram tubes on ebay, many from the same seller(not this seller) and they run about $350. I believe. To clarify, that is without the intake manifold, just the cross ram tubes that the carbs attach to.

HAHAHA!!! That' a small block in line 2X4 manifold that you can still buy from jegs with two offenhauser four barrel offsets bolted on... and they want how much for it???

the offsets alone are 140 each at summit, not counting the intake or linkage, which the closest one looks to be missing the part that actually connects to the carb.
Not a bad price really, have you seen one cheaper somewhere?

I saw some of those on a 440 in a Charger back around 88. Any body ever had these on a running car?

summit show this intake manifold 5488 as only for the 273....so I would think it would be Ok for a 318 also as the port runners are the same size....But the 340 360 has bigger head port runners so this manifold would not be taking advantage of the larger head runners on the 340/360 heads correct???

I'll bet a dollar neither Summit nor Jegs has it in stock, regardless of what their sites say. Offenhauser stuff is on the wane. They haven't produced new castings in almost 20 years. If they have any in stock, it'll be a miracle and I bet the last one. By all means, show us a cheaper example of everything listed in that auction. I am waiting anxiously.

Not only that but according to Summit's listing it's for a 64-65 273 which means it won't even bolt up to anything but a 64-65 273 or something with 64-65 273 heads on it unless the intake or heads are modified. 66 and newer had a different bolt angle.

You just have to drill the holes a little larger and take a die grinder to adjust the pad where the bolt head sits. It'll bolt up.

A friend had one of these on a 273 in a 33 Plymouth coupe years ago with a couple of 390s on it. It was all for looks as it never did run very well. He eventually found a single four barrel Offy Dual Port 360 with the divided runners to put on it so he could drive the car to shows and in rod runs. If anyone could make it run well he would have been the guy too. The guys with three deuces and two four barrel manifolds always found him to be the go-to guy when they needed help getting their setup to work. His manifold did have port size to match the 273 heads so it would not be a smooth transition into 340/360 heads even if bolt angle was modified. Wish I had a photo of his car but I never got one before he moved to Saint George. Last I new the car had a 330 Hemi in it in place of the 273 so he may have on of these manifolds for sale too.

Cool
But thats no crossram

This is a crossram for a small block mopar

if it sold i hope it's for 273 not 318 and above like he advertised or someone going to want there money back. E BAY is killing the market for us hobbist these part's are way out there. These seller's most of them dont even have a mopar.they like the mopar money but drive chevy's LOL

I wouldn't put that set up on an engine on a bet. Regardless of what the parts cost, the former poster was right - it would never run worth a flip.

I had a set of these on a 392 hemi, like a big dummy
I let them go with the motor.

What junk.. obviously the seller has no understanding of what a cross ram is. You couldn't make that manifold work any worse if you tried. A fool and his $585 are soon parted.
