im replacing my fuel tank, and looking to replace with a fuel cell.

anything i should be looking out for?

i do quite like the idea of locating it in my spare wheel well, and have seen round fuel cells but at the same time, not seen any reviews.

thanks

I put mine in the spare hole, a 15 gal square fit real good. Make sure to add a real good filter as fuel cells let everything in the tank go thru the lines. Had my carb off several times before installing GOOD filters.

I got mine from Ebay. 22 gallon. Same brand as Summit sells. I figured if it's going to be a driver, I don't want to fill up as often when I cruise.

Thinking of this
What's your general thoughts? It seems that the outlet pipe is situated on the top, rather than at the bottom, so possibly the potential for general crap to get through should be less.

what ever you do if your running pump junk remove the foam... the foam will melt and jack stuff up... i havn't seen a foam for Alky yet but that would probably survive our ethanol.

As stated run a good -8 or -10 feed from the tank to filter, and filter to pump, then drop on size depending on what your doing.

also summit sells the Pro-street cell that has a mopar 73-10 fuel sender so its bolt in and go!

thanks 805moparkid
the downside is summit and jegs are over your way, so by the time i have paid import taxes, it makes it expensive, unless i do a bulk order, and the tank is about the last thing now.

Gasoline is petrol.
I emailed asking if its ok for petrol/ gasoline, they said yes
